Excellent job~!
But the thing is - and this applies to Celestia as well - something's off. Mainly the limbs. Alone, they'd be pretty good, but they seem almost... fake, when applied to the whole image. Mostly the connection from the front legs to the chest; there's normally a shoulder there. See about 1/3 down on this picture, where you've matched the pose - [link] .
Also, on the wings; I understand that a feather brush is easier, and yes, it can be used well. However, having every feather look the exact same makes for a bland final work - a bird's wing isn't copy-pasted in the layers, each feather is different. It seemed like you went for a more realistic look with them than with the rest of the image as well, so here's a tutorial that combines them - [link] .
Another few things you may want to look into are the center of interest and rule of thirds - neither of which are used here as the pony is not the focus, it is the image, if anything, the center of interest is split between the mane and tail - and posing, which is summarized in the fact that one leg lifted royally is in no way unique or exciting. Try something from these results, maybe - [link] . On a side note, there is no grass in front of NMM's feet, making it look like you stuck her on like a sticker.
However, the mane and tail look amazing, and the highlights on the armor fit perfectly. But overall, you're getting a 3/10. Sorry, but this needs work.
This NM is quite old now (I made this about five month ago), I hope to do better in the future...
And thanks for the advice!
(And sorry for my english. <_< )
